The current feed in tariff (FiT) paid by ActewAGL for new connections in the ACT is a gross 1:1 FiT in line with the customers retail rate.

ActewAGL have advised that on the 1st of July 2013 that will change to a net tariff paid at a FiT of 7.5c per kWh of energy exported to the grid.

To qualify for the existing gross metering and ActewAGL’s existing solar buyback tariff a Special connection request form must be received by ActewAGL Distribution prior to close of business 30 June 2013.

The current gross metering scheme will run until 1 July 2020, and applications received before the end of June will qualify for that period.
